Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of thematic bureaucratic reform in achieving a professional, Islamic-based, and integrity-driven educational administration in the digital era. Thematic bureaucratic reform in the education sector focuses on improving governance systems, enhancing human resource capacity, and internalizing moral and spiritual values in administrative practices. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis conducted in Islamic-based educational institutions. The findings reveal that thematic bureaucratic reform contributes to improving administrative efficiency and accountability through service digitalization, strengthening Islamic work culture, and promoting transparency in decision-making processes. Nevertheless, challenges persist in terms of digital competence and the adaptability of bureaucratic work culture. The study concludes that the success of bureaucratic reform in education relies heavily on the integration of professionalism, Islamic values, and integrity in addressing the dynamics of digital transformation.
